Outlook - Portfolio changes becoming effective 2024, January 1st

Due to scientific progress in all fields of dermatologic basic research, in pharmaceutics as well as in regulatory toxicology, the demand for bioartificial 3D skin models constantly increases. Skin models which mimic the structural, physiological, and biochemical characteristics of the native human skin more realistic and more precise are in the focus of current and future research, more than ever before. This inevitable scientific trend places increasingly higher demands on the biological complexity and applicability of the skin models.

To continue providing you with high-quality, state-of-the art skin models, we have decided to focus our production and marketing activities exclusively on our premium products, based on the complex Phenion Full-Thickness Skin Model.

Consequently, we will stop the production of our pure epidermal model, the epiCS, at the end of this year. However, we will serve all already existing orders and all orders which will still be placed with a delivery date within this year.
